MUSIC SCHOOL | COURSES | PROJECTS | MUSIC SEMINARS   When arriving at IPDAE guests can see amongst the trees and gardens enthusiastic students performing stunning melodies that ease our sorrows and arouse uncontainable feelings. The IPDAE Music School’s mission is to promote access to music as a means of development of both the individual and the community. The school is a cultural place with a favorable atmosphere for teaching and learning music. It is a place where beauty and friendship are valued; above all, it is a place where students are moved by the magic of sounds and the beautiful harmonies. The school provides students with a great structure, musical instruments and proper learning materials, as well as an experienced and highly qualified group of teachers. The courses have been offered to children and adolescents aging from seven to seventeen years old and classes are totally free, with beneficiaries paying only for the cleaning material used every month. Increased student interest and participation rates are reflected in the increasing demand for the courses. Also, parents and teachers are already noticing positive behavior changes in the participating students. This marvelous adventure in musical education was made possible by donation in memory of Donald Sandberg, a pianist and composer. |
